About AI Story Writer
AI Story Writer is a free tool run by the team that makes Feldar, a writing app for novelists. We built it because people search for a quick, honest AI story writer, and most of the ones out there hide behind sign-ups.
How it works
When you press Write my story, your brief and settings go to a small program on Cloudflare's network. A safety model (Meta's Llama Guard 3) checks the request, then an open language model writes the story and streams it back to you. The first stories each day are written by Moonshot AI's Kimi K2.6; when the tool is busy, Google's Gemma 4 takes over.
What we keep
We do not keep your brief or your story. We keep a one-day count of requests per network address, stored as a one-way code, so one person cannot use up the free stories for everyone.
Limits
Up to 10 stories a day per person, about 500 or 1,000 words each, and an overall daily limit for the whole service. Stories are kept suitable for a general audience.
